Transforming Coffee Husks into Pellet Biofuel
This project presents a practical and environmentally friendly solution for repurposing coffee husks. By transforming agricultural waste into a valuable energy source, it aligns with global sustainability goals and offers economic benefits to coffee-producing communities.

Watch the Process in Action

a. Our Objective
To convert coffee husks, a byproduct of coffee processing, into pellet biofuel, promoting waste reduction and renewable energy.
b. Process Overview
1. Collection and Drying: Coffee husks are collected and dried to reduce moisture content.
2.Grinding: Dried husks are ground into fine powder for uniform pellet formation.
3.Pelletizing: The ground husks are compressed in a pellet mill, where natural lignin binds them into pellets.
4.Cooling and Screening: Pellets are cooled and screened to ensure quality.
5.Packaging and Storage: Finished pellets are packaged and stored for distribution.

c. Outcomes
This process reduces waste, provides a renewable energy source, and creates economic benefits for coffee producers.
